Il jazz dal sapore newyorkese"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><strong><img src=\"\/images\/SPLEEN.jpg\" border=\"0\" title=\"la copertina del nuovo album &quot;Spleen&quot; di Federico Luongo\" width=\"300\" style=\"margin: 21px; float: right;\" \/>IL NUOVO ALBUM DI FEDERICO LUONGO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>di Stefano Dentice<\/p>\n<p>Sound e mood newyorkesi rappresentano la peculiarit\u00e0 stilistica di <strong>Spleen<\/strong>,il nuovo progetto discografico di <strong>Federico Luongo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Il musicista partenopeo \u00e8 un giovane e brillante chitarrista jazz in rampa di lancio che, per questa \u00a0nuova \u00a0avventura discografica, si affida a sei eccellenti \u00a0jazzisti, come: <strong>Rosario Giuliani<\/strong> (sax), <strong>Corrado Cirillo<\/strong> (contrabbasso), <strong>Luca Mignano<\/strong> (batteria) e gli ospiti <strong>Marta Capponi<\/strong> (voce), <strong>Mario Nappi<\/strong> (pianoforte e piano elettrico) e <strong>Gianluca Brugnano<\/strong> (batteria).<\/p>\n<p>Il cd contiene nove tracce, di cui sette siglate da <strong>Luongo<\/strong> e due standard composti da <strong>Horace Silver<\/strong> (<strong>Barbara<\/strong>) e <strong>John Coltrane <\/strong>(<strong>Naima<\/strong>). <strong>Emerald Rain<\/strong> \u00e8 un brano dal tema distensivo e cantabile. Il solo di <strong>Cirillo<\/strong> \u00e8 fortemente appassionato, dall\u2019intensa carica emozionale e impreziosito da un colto lirismo.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019eloquio solistico di <strong>Federico Luongo<\/strong> \u00e8 avvolto da un fraseggio adamantino, ornato da alcune repentine accelerazioni cromatiche. <strong>Portrait of you<\/strong> \u00e8 un\u2019amorevole ballad in cui l\u2019improvvisazione di <strong>Luongo<\/strong> \u00e8 pacata, scandita da toccanti pause che danno ampio respiro alle sue frasi. In questa traccia sgorga la lucente classe di <strong>Rosario Giuliani<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>Il suo sax alto, dal suono avvolgente e passionale, intesse sopraffine linee melodiche. Le spazzole del batterista <strong>Mignano<\/strong> disegnano un aggraziato tappeto ritmico. In <strong>Maelstrom<\/strong>, <strong>Federico Luongo <\/strong>si esprime attraverso un fraseggio guizzante, cadenzato ed espressivo. In questo brano <strong>Giuliani<\/strong> sfrutta magistralmente le sfumature timbriche del suo sax, poich\u00e9 talvolta lo spreme nel registro acuto e sovracuto. Inoltre, adorna il suo solo con alcune vertiginose frasi che ammiccano al bebop. <strong>Mario Nappi<\/strong>, alle prese con il piano elettrico, costruisce il suo incedere pianistico attraverso uno stimolante e sgusciante fraseggio ritmico-melodico, sostenuto da un\u2019ottima padronanza tecnica.
