Ad attendere lo spegnimento delle luci ci sar\u00e0 anche il sindaco di Lecce, Paolo Perrone<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Per un\u2019ora, dalle 20.30 alle 21.30 di sabato 27 marzo, piazza S. Oronzo, <\/strong>il salotto della citt\u00e0,<strong> rester\u00e0 al buio<\/strong>. Anche il capoluogo salentino, infatti, ha aderito all\u2019ultima edizione dell\u2019evento mondiale del Wwf <strong><em>Earth Hour<\/em><\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Si tratta del pi\u00f9 grande evento globale che riunisce cittadini e comunit\u00e0 di tutto il Pianeta nella lotta ai cambiamenti climatici.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Earth Hour<\/em><\/strong>, giunto oramai alla quarta edizione, \u00e8 partito da Sydney nel 2007 con il coinvolgimento dei suoi 2,2 milioni di abitanti. In tre anni \u00e8 diventata un movimento globale in grado di unire centinaia di milioni di persone in 128 Paesi e oltre 4600 citt\u00e0 in tutto il mondo per l\u2019unica cosa che abbiamo davvero in comune: il Pianeta.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019<strong>obiettivo del 2011<\/strong> \u00e8 quello di coinvolgere un numero ancora maggiore di Istituzioni, cittadini e aziende e andare \u201dOltre l\u2019ora\u201d prolungando l\u2019impegno attraverso pi\u00f9 azioni, a parte dunque lo spegnimento delle luci: una scuola che installa pannelli solari sul tetto, un Comune, come quello di Lecce, che realizza piste ciclabili, un Governo che si impegna a proteggere una foresta, una famiglia che sceglie l\u2019energia rinnovabile o che rinuncia all\u2019auto un giorno alla settimana. Ogni azione, piccola o grande che sia, ha importanza.<\/p>\n<p>In Italia saranno numero i monumenti storici che resteranno al buio. In piazza S.
