\u00e8 doveroso ed \u00e8 l\u2019unico atto di risarcimento morale che possiamo offrire agli italiani infoibati\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRiportare in \u2018vita\u2019 le vittime del silenzio \u00e8 stata impresa assai faticosa in quanto questa vicenda \u00e8 stata spesso usata come strumento di lotta politica piuttosto che occasione per riappropriarci di un pezzo importante della nostra storia.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Conservare e rinnovare la memoria della tragedia degli italiani e di tutte le vittime delle Foibe \u00e8 un atto doveroso soprattutto nei confronti delle giovani generazioni per ricordare il sacrificio di tanti connazionali calati vivi nelle cavit\u00e0 carsiche e quello compiuto dagli esuli, costretti a lasciare le loro terre e i loro affetti in cerca di una nuova patria.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Conoscere la nostra storia \u00e8 fondamentale per evitare che episodi simili possano nuovamente accadere.\u00a0 E\u2019 l\u2019unico atto di risarcimento morale che possiamo offrire agli italiani infoibati, dimenticati per quasi sessant\u2019anni e ora commemorati grazie al <em>\u2018Giorno del Ricordo\u2019<\/em>,\u00a0 istituito nel 2004 dal Parlamento italiano dopo essere riusciti a ristabilire la verit\u00e0 storica di quei tragici fatti\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>(fonte: ufficio stampa Comune di
