Inoltre, l\u2019artista presenter\u00e0 il suo nuovo libro <em>Drawings From My Previous Life<\/em>,  una raccolta di ritratti ad acquerello di amici che Mai Ueda ha  conosciuto nel corso dell&#8217;ultimo decennio, quando faceva parte del  movimento artistico &#8220;Neen&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><em>MACROeo(electronicOrphanage) <\/em>\u00e8 un<em> <\/em>progetto  ideato dall\u2019artista Miltos Manetas che si configura come una  piattaforma di riflessione sulle nuove tecnologie e sulle prospettive  aperte dai <em>new media<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mai Ueda<\/strong>,  artista \u201cneenster\u201d, nata a Osaka in Giappone nel 1978, vive e lavora a  New York. \u00c8 molto apprezzata a livello internazionale per il suo lavoro  che da sempre si ispira al meta-mondo di internet, la cultura pop  americana, la moda francese, lo sciamanismo del Sud America, lo yoga, il  tantra tibetano e la meditazione. Dice l\u2019artista: &#8220;Neen ha  rappresentato per me un nuovo e diverso approccio al mondo dell&#8217;arte  contemporanea. E&#8217; sorprendente vedere come \u00e8 possibile produrre poesia e  bellezza con l&#8217;uso della tecnologia e dei dispositivi Internet.
