I suoi interessi spaziano dal cinema all\u2019arte, passando per i social media. Tra i suoi libri si segnalano The Digital Dialectic, Snap to Grid, USER, The Secret War Between Downloading and Uploading: Tales of the Computer as Culture Machine e Digital_Humanities (di cui \u00e8 co-autore, in uscita a settembre). Come ideatore e direttore editoriale del progetto Mediawork, ha realizzato una serie di pamphlet per la MIT Press che hanno contribuito a ridefinire il rapporto tra approccio accademico e
